Buying Foreclosures
By David Chambless | June 17, 2008
In today’s market that is saturated with foreclosure properties, I have been asked by many clients how to get a great “deal” on buying these properties.
First and foremost, it’s very important to have a Real Estate Agent represent you in this tricky transaction. With most of the foreclosures I’ve handled, the bank requires that the contract be on their documents, written by their attorneys, and they are very one-sided in favor of the bank. It is very important to have a knowledgeable Real Estate Agent representing you to negotiate on your behalf to protect your interests.
