Powers’ Crossroads Festival in Newnan

By Cindy Millard | August 16, 2008

Labor Day weekend in Newnan, GA and Coweta County is earmarked by the Powers’ Crossroads Country Fair and Art Festival. Attending and volunteering at “Powers” has become a Newnan tradition for many.

Highlights include continuous musical entertainment and delicious southern food prepared by local organizations. But the real treat is strolling through wooded paths and finding many artists painting, sculpting or making jewelry. It is truly a pleasure to admire and purchase original works of art and crafts with such a large selection and quality. Personally meeting and visiting with the artists in a casual country setting makes the day complete.
